About

Welcome,

I hold a Graduate Diploma and M.A. (Masters) in Integrative Psychotherapy from the University of Limerick.

Other qualifications include a B.A. in English and Psychological Studies, an MSc in Psychological Studies, and a Diploma in Counselling Studies.

I have also completed a wide range of additional trainings for working with infants, children, adolescents and adults, including Circles of Security, Sensory Attachment Integration, Marte Meo, Trauma-Informed approaches, and Non-Violent Resistance Training.

Throughout my career I have worked in Psychotherapy and Social Care / Family Support as well as in private practice. I have worked therapeutically with individuals and families from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.

In my therapy practice, I work in an integrative way, meaning that, rather than working primarily from one theoretical approach, I draw from multiple perspectives and schools of psychotherapy. I am particularly influenced by Existential Psychotherapy and Attachment Theory.

Accreditation

I am a fully accredited member of IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy).
